Choose LaunchAF if you want a backlink that does not depend on finishing in the top three, a free route with a verified badge, and paid plans that publish after checkout. Choose TinyLaunch if you want a launch competition where the free tier is open to everyone, and you are happy to pay $39 for a guaranteed backlink or to skip its queue. TinyLaunch's free badge and backlink go only to its top three ranking products.

We run LaunchAF, so weigh our comparison accordingly. We read TinyLaunch's public pricing page and homepage and LaunchAF's live pricing and submission flow on November 1, 2026. TinyLaunch's pages did not state its launch cadence or its link type for every tier, and we mark those gaps rather than fill them.

How do the launch formats compare?

LaunchAF runs a weekly leaderboard. A founder submits through a three-step form: product details, choice of plan, and a step where the founder upvotes three other products (not required when the current leaderboard has fewer than three). Launches collect votes and comments, the product keeps a public profile, and paid launches stay at the top of the weekly board for their featured days. Within each group, launches rank by community votes.

TinyLaunch's homepage shows a section labelled "Launching Now" with a countdown to the "next launch period," a first, second and third place list, a "Trending Today" section for the past 24 hours, and a "Latest Winners" list. The pages we read did not say how often launch periods occur or how long a launch stays live, so we cannot compare cadence precisely. The homepage also says "Trusted by 30,000+ users worldwide," which is TinyLaunch's own claim and not something we verified.

The pricing page says Standard Launches are live on the homepage for multiple days. Paid Premium launches are "frequently showcased between 3rd and 4th place," and the page says three random premium launches display on each page load.

TinyLaunch's pricing page lists the Standard Launch as free, with a badge and a "high authority backlink for top 3 ranking products." Its homepage says a dofollow backlink is granted when you embed the badge with a dofollow link to TinyLaunch on your own page. The wording does not clearly explain whether the badge condition and top-three rule apply together in every case. Confirm the free link terms with TinyLaunch before relying on them.

The Premium Launch at $39 lists a "guaranteed high authority backlink" with no ranking condition. The pages we read did not state the link attribute for Premium, and they did not mention nofollow anywhere. Inspect the link on the live page after you buy.

LaunchAF's rule is simpler. The pricing page states a dofollow backlink on the free plan with the badge required, and a dofollow backlink on every paid plan with no badge. A new free listing can be delisted if the badge later disappears. A backlink does not guarantee a ranking change, so use our Domain Rating guide to set expectations.

The homepage headline mentions a "72+ DR Backlink." That is TinyLaunch's displayed figure, not an independent measurement from our own Ahrefs account, and the page does not say whether every link carries that rating.

What do the costs and waits look like?

LaunchAF's free launch costs $0 but has a community waiting period that the pricing page says is usually 30+ days. Paid launches are one-time and live today after checkout. Alpha is $19 with seven days featured, a newsletter mention and a premium badge. Beta is $39 with 14 days featured, a handwritten curated product review and a Substack feature. Gamma is $99 with 28 days featured and a post to X. Zeus is $199 with 30 days featured and a product review that adds two more dofollow backlinks.

TinyLaunch's Standard Launch is free and enters a standard launch queue whose length the pricing page does not state. Premium is $39 per launch and skips the queue. TinyLaunch also sells a one-time Submission Service for $279 that submits to 110 directories, with the sites chosen by category and not guaranteed. Its page notes DR improvement varies and that the service is most effective for sites currently below DR 20. Weekly Featured Spots cost $30 for the top position and $15 for a mid-feed position, cancelable at any time.

For comparison, LaunchAF's pricing page lists optional SEO directory boosts billed monthly: Plan I at $99 per month for manual submission to 30+ directories, Plan II at $149 per month for 60+, and Plan III at $199 per month for 100+. These are monthly services, while TinyLaunch's is a single payment, so compare total cost over the period you need.

Where LaunchAF wins

On the free plan, LaunchAF ties the dofollow link to the badge, not to a leaderboard position. For a founder who is not sure of finishing near the top, that is a more predictable rule than a top-three condition.

Beta and Gamma include a handwritten curated review and newsletter placement; Gamma and Zeus add an X post, and Zeus includes a separate product review. The deliverables are named on the pricing page. TinyLaunch's Premium page lists a guaranteed backlink, queue skipping and showcase placement but no newsletter or review.

LaunchAF states a dofollow backlink for every plan. TinyLaunch's pricing page does not state a link attribute for either tier, which means you have to verify it after launching.

Where TinyLaunch wins

An open free competition

TinyLaunch's free tier is open to everyone and competes for placements, with the top three receiving a badge and a backlink. If you want to compete on votes and are confident in your product, that structure is clear.

The Premium Launch lists a guaranteed backlink and queue skipping for $39. If your priority is a link and speed, that is a direct offer. LaunchAF's Beta is also $39 and includes different deliverables; its Alpha plan starts at $19.

A one-time directory submission service

TinyLaunch's $279 Submission Service covers 110 directories in a single payment. Some founders will prefer paying once to subscribing monthly, although the directory list is not guaranteed and results vary.

LaunchAF's limits

LaunchAF is newer and smaller than the largest launch communities, and we have no independent traffic comparison with TinyLaunch. Its free route needs a badge and a waiting period of usually 30+ days. Paid launches rank above free ones on the weekly board, and paying buys visibility and speed, not customers. We cannot promise visits, signups or a Domain Rating change from either platform.

Which should you choose?

Choose LaunchAF if you want a backlink that does not depend on finishing in the top three, and you are willing to place a badge or pay for a plan. Choose TinyLaunch if you want to compete in an open free tier, or you want a $39 guaranteed-link upgrade and its directory submission service. If you are still deciding, see LaunchAF vs Smol Launch, the launch platform guide, and the free launch platform matcher.

Can you use both?

Yes. Launch on different dates, keep your product facts consistent, and tag your links so you can tell which platform sent which visitors. Maintain any badge a free tier requires, and inspect the published link on each. The launch day templates can help you reuse the same copy.

Frequently asked questions

Is TinyLaunch free?

TinyLaunch offers a free Standard Launch, but its pricing page says the badge and high-authority backlink go to the top three ranking products. Paid Premium is $39 per launch. LaunchAF's free launch costs $0, requires a verified badge, and has a community waiting period of usually 30+ days.

TinyLaunch's homepage says a dofollow backlink is granted when you embed the badge with a dofollow link to TinyLaunch on your own page; its pricing page describes a backlink for the top three free products. The relationship between those conditions is not clear, and the pricing page does not state the paid Premium link attribute. Confirm the terms with TinyLaunch. LaunchAF states a dofollow backlink on every plan.

How much does TinyLaunch Premium cost?

TinyLaunch lists Premium Launch at $39 per launch, with a guaranteed high-authority backlink, queue skipping and frequent showcase between 3rd and 4th place. LaunchAF's Beta at $39 includes 14 days featured, a curated review and newsletter features. The bundles differ, so compare the contents, not just the price.

How long is TinyLaunch's queue?

TinyLaunch's pricing page mentions a standard launch queue but does not state its length. Check the queue before you plan a date. LaunchAF's free route has a stated community waiting period of usually 30+ days.

Can I launch on LaunchAF and TinyLaunch?

Both can be used together if you stagger them and keep your product details consistent. Track referrals from each separately and keep any required badge installed. Neither platform guarantees traffic or rankings.

The bottom line

LaunchAF suits founders who want a backlink rule that does not depend on a top-three finish and a paid path with named benefits. TinyLaunch suits founders who want an open free competition, a $39 guaranteed-link option or a one-time directory submission service. Read both live pricing pages, then submit your product where the trade-offs fit.
