ToolRoots

ToolRoots is a directory for finding software by where it is made and where it is hosted. Visitors can browse by country or region, or search by the well-known tool they want to replace. Each listing shows the country of origin, the hosting location when given, and the tools it is an alternative to. Makers can submit a tool by providing its name, country of origin, and URL. Free listings go live once a badge linking back to ToolRoots is installed on the maker's homepage, while a Premium option skips the badge and adds a permanent dofollow backlink. The site also includes a blog and comparison
